Minimally invasive surgery aims to minimize trauma to the patient, resulting in a lower amount of pain and discomfort. Where an open operation needs a single large incision, most of our procedures are done through a few openings about a quarter of an inch wide.
A small subset of patients are not candidates for minimally invasive surgery; open surgery may be required for emergency procedures, complex anatomy or reconstructions. We work with each patient to determine the safest, least invasive procedure with the best recovery possible.
All three of our surgeons are fellowship-trained in minimally invasive and robotic technique, and all three are Fellows of the American College of Surgeons.

Members of One Surgical Specialists started the first Robotic Surgery Fellowship in the United States in July 2015. Using the da Vinci Surgical System, our surgeons operate through a few tiny incisions with 3D high-definition vision and instruments that move beyond the range of the human hand.
Our office is in Paramus, just off Route 17 and minutes from the Garden State Parkway. We operate at Hackensack University Medical Center and at HUMC at Pascack Valley in Westwood.
